It’s no surprise that Staten Island’s pop sensation, Dave West, has been met with success during the early stages of his music career! His recent single, “Into It” has filled rooms with delight and energy! The song fuses old school and new school sounds together, allowing a variety of age groups to enjoy the tune!
If you have yet to stream the upbeat song, don’t waste anymore time waiting! As Dave prepares to unveil his next single, “Bad Day to Be a Beer” in October, he revealed that he has been creating music frequently to have the opportunity to release back to back hits!
Throughout his venture thus far, Dave West expressed that he has learned many lessons already. He stated, “ My biggest lesson so far has definitely been to have patience. It’s something my father always used to tell me I needed, because it’s something I’ve always particularly lacked. But in the game of artistry you’ll go through years of trial and error before you have your “eureka” moment. Being patient with myself was the hardest yet most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. Once you develop said patience it’s a lot easier to take criticism as a construct and not an insult, simply because you’ll always be looking to get things right and improve. That feeling is limitless.”
It is evident that Dave West is self-aware which certainly assists with authenticity; a necessity in the music business! As he builds his audience, followers, and content, follow him on Instagram!
